Justin Timberlake, the man who brought “SexyBack” in 2006, is ready to bring MySpace back from the dead! Excited? Well, after watching the video that Timberlake released on his Twitter has got me pumped up!

A long time ago, MySpace was once the leader in the social media world. The site was even bought by Rupert Murdock for $580 million in 2005 and the value tripled within a year. But (the now powerful) Facebook came along and destroyed MySpace’s hopes and dreams.
In 2011, MySpace was purchased by the advertising network Specific Media for $35 million and Justin Timberlake who took ownership stake.
From the looks of it, the New MySpace will have a heavy music component to it. Users will have the option to sign in with their Facebook or Twitter account and bring their information over or create a new MySpace account. I am kind of getting tired of Facebook so the New MySpace interface looks really refreshing. If done right, this will look amazing on tablets!
The New MySpace will not only be squaring off against Facebook and Twitter, but as well as music based social sites like Spotify, Rdio, and Rhapsody.
Music being a huge party of my life and having a passion for the digital world, I can’t wait for the New MySpace!
